BHSI 10-Year Anniversary Retreat held in October

To celebrate its 10-year anniversary, the Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute held a retreat for faculty and staff focused on the biomedical challenges and opportunities for UGA in the next decade.

The event took place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Paul D. Coverdell Center for Biomedical and Health Sciences. Faculty and administrators from the Georgia Health Sciences University/UGA Medical Partnership College of Public Health, Office of Economic Development, BHSI, and UGA’s new obesity initiative gathered to speak about their program efforts, as well as opportunities for participation.
