Dr. Berg, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Extension Specialist, leads health education programs focused on chronic disease prevention and management, including obesity, diabetes, and some cancers. Her research centers on translating evidence-based and practice-tested strategies and programs, like the National Diabetes Prevention Program, through the Cooperative Extension model to improve health outcomes. She also advances community-engaged research via the Georgia CTSA, connecting researchers with communities and Extension programs to promote health across the state.
