Dr. Brown works with Georgia communities, UGA Extension specialists and agents, and across the Georgia CTSA to build capacity for and implement community-engaged clinical and translational research that furthers the critical land-grant mission of UGA and expands the impact of GA CTSA. Dr. Brown has experience in community-based participatory research, focusing on policy, systems, and environmental change strategies, as well as health education for youth. Her master’s and doctorate are both in Foods and Nutritionist.
