Dr. Phillips leads research and translational science at UGA to advance biomedical discoveries, approaches, and innovations that can be translated to impact health. As UGA mPI for the Georgia CTSA, he collaborates with alliance partners to harness synergistic resources, expertise, and capabilities to leverage research, education, workforce development, and community engagement throughout the state. His federally funded research program focuses on novel approaches to improve the treatment and health of those with sleep apnea.
