Co-Director, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design
Allan Tate, MPH, PHD is a social epidemiologist with expertise spanning applied biostatistics, social epidemiology, engineering/computer science, and family demography. He uses machine learning techniques with high dimensional social and behavioral data sources and is engaged in algorithm development for preclinical cardiovascular health monitoring using open-source wearables. He is Director of Biostatistics at Center for Advanced Computer Human Ecosystems and Co-Director for the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design Unit with GA CTSA.
