Now accepting applications for the 2012 ARCS Foundation and Global Impact Awards
The Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute is seeking applicants for the 2012 ARCS® Foundation Awards for doctoral students in the biomedical and health sciences. The deadline for application submissions is July 6.
These awards, in the amount of $7,500 each, will be granted during 2012-2013 academic year as a supplement to any assistantship from UGA. Recipients of the ARCS Foundation Award, who maintain their academic standing, are funded each year through the completion of their doctoral degrees.
In addition, one of the six new ARCS Awards available this year, will be awarded as an ARCS Global Impact Award. This special scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded for one year to fund the professional development of a doctoral student whose research directly addresses global health issues.
